The ADVANCEing Faculty Program in the College of Engineering and Science at Louisiana Tech University has as its goal to create a culture of success for women faculty in engineering and science. Initiated by a National Science Foundation ADVANCE Partnership for Adaptation, Implementation and Dissemination (PAID) grant, it encompasses mentoring, networking, collaboration, training activities. It is administered by the Office for Women in Science and Engineering (OWISE) in the Dean's Office.

The ASEE "Engineering Data Management System" also called the ASEE "Data Mining" tool, contains information from over 370 institutions offering programs in undergraduate and graduate engineering and engineering technology. Reports can be run for 1998 to 2010 and can be downloaded to .csv formatted files, which can be opened in MS Excel.
